A view of an ecletic life after retirement
I'm impressed. I used to show flowers and veggies. It was fun at the time, but very time consuming.
I couldn't take it as seriously as some gardeners do.
Congratulations - I can see why you won a prize! Very pretty x
Thanks, Teresa
Congratulations! It must be difficult for the judges. If I look at the ones that didn't win, they all seem near perfect to me.
They did to me too!
Ah, it's not the certificate, it's the honour that counts. What a lovely flower. I've never seen a white daffodil quite like that. What's it called?
The daffy is called Thalia, multi-headed and very fragrant, Deborah.
It is lovely. And perfumed, too. That's wonderful. I don't usually associate daffodils with fragrance.
I'm not feeling blue, but the main colour in the garden has shifted from yellows to blues. In my vase I have used Pulmonaria Blue Ensig...
I'm impressed.
