I'm over the moon to be awarded third in class in a flower show as it is the first time I have ever entered one. My grandson was unimpressed when he asked what the prize was and I showed him my certificate!

I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteI used to show flowers and veggies. It was fun at the time, but very time consuming.
I couldn't take it as seriously as some gardeners do.
DeleteCongratulations - I can see why you won a prize! Very pretty x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Teresa
DeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteIt must be difficult for the judges. If I look at the ones that didn't win, they all seem near perfect to me.
They did to me too!
DeleteAh, it's not the certificate, it's the honour that counts. What a lovely flower. I've never seen a white daffodil quite like that. What's it called?
ReplyDeleteThe daffy is called Thalia, multi-headed and very fragrant, Deborah.
DeleteIt is lovely. And perfumed, too. That's wonderful. I don't usually associate daffodils with fragrance.
