The Wordsmiths/Big Ideas by the Sea Competition
Delighted that my poem (which begins like this) has been chosen:
This space
In this space between ever changing coastline and sea
The inner child is rediscovered flying a brightly coloured kite,
Paddling and splashing in the white-capped waves
Scrambling up cliffs or skimming smooth stones.
"It's my pleasure to let you know that the judges have deliberated and decided that your poem is one of the winners. We would be delighted if you could come along to our event at the Craft Bar on Sunday 19th May to read your poem to our audience. The event begins at 5.0pm and ends at 7.00pm. It would be a pleasure to welcome you there and listen to your reading."

I am part of a team who produce and write content for a programme at an arts based centre housed in a converted chapel. https://www.chapelfm.co.uk/ This amazing space has a café area and recording studios plus a performance area on the first floor. People of all ages and abilities make such good use of it that we are extending into the neighbouring building as we speak.
Our monthly programme is called The Deli and offers fiction, nonfiction, poetry, music and discussion and back episodes can be heard https://www.chapelfm.co.uk/elfm-player/archive/2019/07/deli-77/
