Spring

It has been a busy and rewarding month.


Produced my first "assignment" for my flower arranging group.  Ikebana is a japanese arrangement and portrays heaven, man and earth.

Spent a few days at the East Coast with pleasant, dry weather.  It was the first time at the seaside for six months.




We  were able to welcome our visitors from Sweden with even better weather.  It was snowing when they left Stockholm and arrived to find what I can only describe as tropical.  Of course, a drought has now been declared in our area.  The visit went all too fast.


 Those are peas and beans sown in cups - not coffee!

In January I signed up for the Write 1 Sub1 Challenge (www.write1sub1.com) which means I have to write one piece and submit one piece each month for a whole year.  Today I was delighted to learn that my first short story has been accepted for publication.

Easter break
